IF YOU WERE TO BE A LIVING BRIDGE... Where would you lead to? Where do you want the feet to land of whoever chooses to walk with you? What do you want their hearts to feel? And how can you nourish and embody more of this in the small, seemingly insignificant moments of your day-to-day life?
During this weekend, we invite the fullness of our visions to land into the simple, sacred rituals of everyday life. However, letting our visions land... may sound a bit deceptive. In case you were wondering: it has very little to do with doing things, or with being more productive.
This retreat is a slow tango with your heart and soul. A chance to welcome your very own weird and wonderful. To wrap a bowtie around the stories that told you no, too little, or too much, and return to sender. Because the greatest service of all... is you embracing more and more of who you are.

3 meals a day + snacks. Fresh, local, and organic as much as possible; made with love, always.

A carefully designed schedule, including daily yoga/embodiment classes, meditation, ritual, and other communal gatherings.

Plenty of space to enjoy rest, quality time with yourself and others, and to roam freely in and around Grounded Roots.

Use of all facilities Grounded Roots has to offer: e.g., sauna, library, swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen.

Located on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, near the Henschotermeer, you’ll find Grounded Roots — a magical place made for connection and creation. The beautiful villa was built by the very own grandfather of the woman who now runs it as a retreat place. The house stands alone and is surrounded by a big garden and lush greenery. An ideal place to cocoon, and to connect on a deeper level — with yourself, with nature, and with your fellow 'retreaters'. The villa itself features an intimate studio/ceremonial space, a small library, a dining area with a gorgeous long table, and a professionally equipped kitchen. The cozy living room features large, semi-circular sofas and a beautiful fireplace, making it easy to connect and relax. Grounded Roots highly values sustainability, offering you an interior that is mainly furnished with sustainable brands.
