  • Do I need an account to book a class?
    Yes. You can create an account via (Log in / Meld je aan) or the Bsport app (download for free on App Store or Google Play & search 'Ebb & Flow' in the app). Purchase the 'Introduction offer' (online or in the studio), which will give you 2 classes for only 15eu.
  • What do I bring to class?
    In view of Covid19 regulations, we kindly ask you to bring your own mat, and a towel or blanket to cover any props you might use during class. Always make sure you're wearing comfortable clothing you can freely move in, and a water bottle to replenish and quench your thirst (mostly after: only small sips (or none) during class! You don't want your tummy to be sloshing during Vinyasa (: ).
  • How much time do I need before the start of my session?
    You won’t need much, but we recommend to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the indicated start time so you have some time to check in, find your spot and get ready - without having to rush.
  • Can I arrive after the start time of the class?
    Keeping the experience of your fellow yogis in mind, we do encourage you to be on time (5-10 minutes before class starts should leave you enough time). During class the studio doors will be locked. Teachers are encouraged to wait a minute or two if someone's still missing from the schedule. Those late are probably the ones who need it most. However... see sentence nr 1 & 2. ;-)
  • Do you have lockers?
    Yes, lockers are provided for your bag, laptop, phone, keys, jacket, whatever you don’t need during your presence in the studio. Note: please always put your phone in a locker on silent/airplane mode and do not take it with you in the studio. Studio = phone free zone :)
  • Do you have changing rooms?
    Yes, we have two single changing rooms.
  • Help, I think I forgot my...
    No worries: if we found it, we'll keep it safe until you can come pick it up. To reclaim what’s yours, please send us an e-mail with a clear description at
  • Can I stay for a chat after class, or come in a bit earlier?
    Yes, we love to have a chat and connect with you if there's time! Doors are open 15 minutes before the start of class.
  • Do I need an account to book a class, workshop/event, or treatment?
    Yes. You can easily create an account via (Log in / Meld je aan), or the Bsport app (download for free on App Store or Google Play).
  • Which classes are fit for beginners?
    Unless specifically stated in the class description, every class is fit for beginners. The teachers will make sure that different levels can be safely accessed in every class. And don't forget: practice over perfection. Work within the boundaries of your body, it is your absolute first and best teacher! If you want to be on the safe side, choose a Yin class to start with: a more meditative, slow-paced practice great to soothe and support your nervous system. If you prefer a little more movement, go for the Gentle Flow, Sunday Evening Flow, or Yin Yang.
  • Do you allow walk-ins?
    Technically yes; but if you want to be sure you have a spot, please register in advance! You can do so via our site or via the Bsport app. Without reservation, you run the risk of the class being full.
  • What if I need to cancel?
    Please do so via your own account on the website or the app, preferably at least 24 hours prior to the class start time. If you cancel within the late cancellation window, unfortunately we cannot reimburse your credits.
  • What if I'm too late, forget to cancel, or cancel within the late cancellation window?
    In case you forget to cancel, or if the cancellation window is already closed at the time of your cancellation, this is regarded as a 'late cancel' or a 'no show'. We understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable. At the same time, we have to be a little strict, because we only have a limited number of spots available in our studio. For this reason, please be mindful of our cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 4 hours before the booked class are free of charge. If you cancel less than 4 hours before the booked class or do not show up, we will charge the following: • For introductory lesson cards, 5, 10 & 20 lesson cards and once/twice a week memberships, 1 credit will be deducted from your card (as if you attended the class). • Unlimited cards and memberships will be charged a 5 euro fee. This amount will either be charged via the bank details known to us, or debited from your account for payment on your first visit to the studio. If you were present, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to change your attendance status. Thank you for your understanding and for helping to give everyone the opportunity to join our classes!
  • If a class is full, is there a waiting list?
    Yes! Sign up via the usual route and you will be placed on the waiting list automatically. If you have joined the waiting list, you will be notified by email if there is a free spot available again. It's first come first serve, so be quick!
  • What should I wear?
    First and foremost: be comfy! You can wear whatever you like, as long as you are comfortable and can move freely in it. Especially for Yin and meditation sessions we advise you to bring a sweater or vest and comfy pair of socks as your body may cool down. But also for Savasana after any practice it might be nice to have an extra layer with you. We practice barefoot, so you can leave your shoes at the door.
  • What language are the classes taught in?
    Most classes are taught in English, some in Dutch: depending on the preference/native tongue of the teacher, and the students present.
  • Can I bring a water bottle into the yoga studio?
    Absolutely! Feel free to bring it with you. And remember: small sips during your practice.
  • Where can I leave my bike/park my car?
    You can park your bike right next to the studio. To park your car, navigate to the Maanweg (free + paid parking) or Saturnusstraat (free + paid parking). No spots available? Try the parking garage Q-park Maanweg: navigate to Maanplein 1N, 2516 CK Den Haag.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
    We do! You can purchase a gift card in the studio or online. Click here to purchase a gift card online. To redeem a gift card, you can either enter your gift card number online at checkout, or take it with you to the studio and make your purchase there.
  • What if I'm pregnant, have a burnout or an injury?
    In case of pregnancy, burnout or injury, please tell the teacher in advance. And - always the message, but in this case even more than normal - make sure to listen carefully to your own body. Don't push it, be kind and gentle to yourself. To be safe, please check with your doctor before joining a session. For all expecting mamas: if you have experience with yoga, know your limits and possible modifications, you can join any class you feel comfortable with (still make sure to tell the teacher - just in case!).
  • I think I want to start yoga, but... I'm so stiff!
    Well, then you're at the right address, aren't ya?! ;) No worries about tight muscles or grumpy joints. Remember it's all about practice, not perfection. If you feel this way, you may want to start with a gentle practice, try one of our Yin classes, perfect to slowly ease your way (and your muscles & joints) into the practice of yoga.
  • I feel great!
    Great! We're super happy to hear that. But, good to know: most injuries just might happen when we are feeling perfectly fine, and perhaps a little overly ambitious. Remember, to learn and grow you may want to dance around the edges of what you're capable of, but not too long, and certainly not too far. Pain is a way of the body to say 'no further'. So don't push it, and listen to the signals your body gives you.
  • Can I book a private class?
    Yes you can. Check out 'Private Class' under the studio menu.
  • What kind of services do you offer?
    We offer a wide variety of 1:1 treatments - e.g., various massages, Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, cupping), Shiatsu, breathwork and energetic healing. Go to 'Treatments' in the site menu for information on all of them. Not quite sure what you need? Send us a message at and we'll help you out.
  • Do I need an account to book a massage/acupuncture/other treatment?

  • How do I book an appointment?
    Visit the 'Treatments' section in the menu and scroll down look for the appointment of your choice. Clicking on the appointment name will bring you to the specific treatment page where you can begin your booking. If you cannot find the right day and time to fit your schedule, you can contact us at hello@ebbflowstudio or +316 105 796 72 to see if we can find you a different timeslot.
  • Wisdom Lab - what is it?
    It's our fancy-schmancy way of describing the workshops & events we facilitate at the studio and beyond. That's the short explanation. ;) For the elaborate one, find the Event page.
  • How can I book a workshop or event?
    Go to the 'Events' page on our website, scroll down to find the workshop or event you’re interested in and follow the steps to reserve your spot. All workshops and courses are also bookable via the Bsport app (download for free on App Store or Google Play & search 'Ebb & Flow' in the app).
  • Do I also need an account to book a workshop or event?
    Yes. You can create an account via (SIGN IN),, the Eversports app (download for free on App Store or Google Play & search 'Ebb & Flow' in the app) or in the studio.
  • Do you allow walk-ins for workshops and events?
    No: please register in advance, either via the website or the app.
  • What if I have a ticket, but can't join?
    Unless otherwise stated, our general cancellation policy (meaning: you get a full refund or balance on your account) is 14 days prior to the start of the event. Sorry, we don’t do refunds after that: but you’re free to have someone else take your place in case you cannot make it. In any case, please let us know if you’re not able to make it, and whether someone else will take your spot instead.
  • What is your waiting list policy?
    If you have joined the waiting list, you will be notified by e-mail as soon as a spot becomes available again. It's first come first serve, so be quick! All people on the waitlist will receive the notification at the same time, and the spot will go to whoever reserves first.
  • Can I host an event at the studio?
    Are you interested in hosting your event, launch, birthday party, workshop, meeting, lecture, etc. at Ebb & Flow Studio? Send us all the details at and we’ll get back to you asap. Delicious, healthy & vegan catering options are available upon request. Please note that the studio is only available for rent outside of class schedule times. We cannot cancel classes from our existing schedule for an event – so please do check our online schedule prior to enquiry.
  • Can I rent the treatement space for my personal massage, acupuncture, Reiki, etc. practice?
    Are you a massage therapist/alternative medicine practitioner/energy worker/[fill in the blanks], and are you looking for a place to hold your practice? Our cozy treatment space is available for rent: we have options for single sessions or (part of the) day. Send the details of what you are looking for to and we’ll get back to you asap.
